Welcome to Nurture Therapy ("Nurture Therapy," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.nurture-therapy.com (the "Site") and any related services described on the Site (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

The Site provides general information about our practice and services. It is not intended to provide clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or are in crisis, do not use this Site. Call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) immediately.

Use of this Site does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A therapist-client relationship is only formed after you complete our intake process and sign the required consent and practice documents with an individual licensed clinician.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site on your own behalf. If you are seeking services for a minor, you must be the minor's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to consent to their care.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems connected to the Site;
Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Site without our prior written consent;
Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
Submit false or misleading information through any form on the Site.

4. Scheduling, Consultations, and Intake Forms

The Site may allow you to request a consultation, schedule an appointment, or submit an intake form. Submitting a request through the Site does not guarantee acceptance as a client. All services are subject to clinician availability, licensure in your state of residence, and completion of required intake and consent paperwork.

Information you submit through scheduling or intake forms may include protected health information (PHI). Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how this information is collected, used, and protected.

5. Fees, Cancellations, and Insurance

Fee schedules, cancellation policies, and insurance/payment information will be provided to you directly during intake or in a separate client services agreement. Nothing on this Site constitutes a guarantee of insurance coverage or reimbursement.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of Nurture Therapy or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., scheduling platforms, payment processors, telehealth platforms) that are not owned or controlled by Nurture Therapy. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Testimonials and Reviews

Any testimonials or reviews displayed on the Site reflect the personal experiences of the individuals who provided them and are not a guarantee of results. Individual results may vary.

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NURTURE THERAPY AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR AMOUNTS PAID TO US VIA THE SITE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurture Therapy and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
