You’re Tired of Struggling with the Emotional Weight of Trauma
Living with trauma is exhausting. You may find yourself constantly overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally numb. Perhaps you’re battling flashbacks, struggling to sleep, or feeling isolated even in a room full of people. Maybe you’re navigating the challenges of pregnancy or parenthood while carrying unresolved pain from your past. You’re doing your best to keep everything together, but inside, it feels like you’re unraveling.
Trauma can lead to conditions such as PTSD, depression, and chronic stress, making it difficult to manage your emotions and daily responsibilities.
Common struggles our clients share include:
Replaying painful memories or experiences, especially related to birth, pregnancy, or medical trauma
Feeling guilt, shame, or like you’re “broken”
Struggling to bond with your baby or partner after a difficult birth
Avoiding people, places, or situations that trigger reminders of your trauma
Trouble focusing, difficulty sleeping, or feeling like you’re “on edge” all the time
Experiencing panic attacks, persistent sadness, or emotional numbness
Feeling unsupported, misunderstood, or invalidated in your experience
Struggling with low self esteem or self-worth as a result of past trauma
Noticing that trauma is interfering with your day to day life, such as work, relationships, or daily routines
You don’t have to navigate this pain alone, or pretend everything is fine when it isn’t.

Symptoms of Trauma and Common Reasons to Seek Therapy
Every person experiences trauma differently. However, some signs that therapy might help include:
Flashbacks, nightmares, or persistent memories of a distressing event
Avoidance of people, places, or activities that serve as reminders
Feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, or being “stuck”
Emotional detachment from loved ones or from yourself
Intense fear, anger, or sadness with no clear trigger
Somatic symptoms like headaches, fatigue, or gastrointestinal issues
Difficulty concentrating, making decisions, or staying organized
Feeling unsafe, even when there is no immediate threat
Certain risk factors, such as previous exposure to a traumatic event, family history, or lack of support, can increase the likelihood of developing trauma-related disorders like PTSD or other mental health conditions.
Trauma therapy can help address a range of disorders that may arise from experiencing a traumatic event, supporting you in managing symptoms and improving overall well-being.
Whether your trauma is rooted in past abuse, reproductive health experiences, or unresolved grief, help is available.
